Forget 4G, It's 5G

And the limits of 5G network are drown and 5G will be called IMT-2020.
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has agreed on the preliminary definitions for the future 5G standard for mobile networking. A conference in San Diego to decide on the future of the standard was held from June 10th to 18th, where a 12 member delegation sat to draw up the specifications.

How will 5G differ from 4G?
In terms of the data speeds, 5G networks will have to provide data speeds of up to 20Gbps(Gigabits per second), 20 times faster than the 1Gbps specification for 4G. In terms of what this means for actual user speeds, customers should receive speeds the range of 100 t0 1000 Mbps, depends on the number of factors.

The final details for 5G standard will be confirmed in October, following approval from the 193 ITU member countries. International spectrum for 5G network should begin distribution in 2019, with commercialized implementation expected sometime in 2020.

Nokia Networks, along with other industries partners is actively preparing for the communication needs beyond 2020 as they will involve a combination of existing and evolving systems. LTE-Advanced and Wi-Fi, will be coupled with revolutionary technologies that are designed to meet new requirements, such as "virtually zero latency" to support palpable internet, machine-to-machine(M2M), or augmented reality.
Altho ITU has decided its roadmap to implement 5G networks but still has work to do ranging from testing the technology to defining performance requirements and standards before a 2020 commercial implementation.

Even so, people will likely to get a glimpse of 5G network technology sooner. Its demonstration is expected during the 2018 "Pyeong Chang Winter Olympic Games".
